USAging’s Strengthening Social Connection in Communities (SSCC) initiative is calling for proposals to award 12-month seed grants to up to 10 organizations within the aging network. These grants, which will not exceed $35,000 each, should seek to enhance the health of older adults and their caregivers by replicating and sustaining evidence-based and evidence-informed social connection programs, partnerships, and referral processes in communities.
At least two grantees must be in western New York, specifically in one of the following counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans or Wyoming.
USAging will hold an informational webinar about this grant opportunity on Thursday, October 23, at 2:00 p.m.
Proposals are due Friday, December 5, at 11:59 p.m.
