Webinar: Creating a Connected Village to Meet Medicaid Community Engagement/Work Requirements

HCBS Strategies and the Village to Village Network are hosting a webinar on how states can use an approach based on the Village Model to meet the Medicaid Community Engagement/Work Requirements.

The Village Model matches volunteers with older adults and other people with disabilities who need additional support. This approach could serve as a cornerstone for state efforts to build infrastructure that allows people to meet Community Engagement requirements.

The Connected Village approach includes incorporating the ability for Villages to directly document community engagement hours and directing people at risk of losing eligibility to these organizations. The webinar will also discuss opportunities for states and villages to receive Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) to support efforts.
