A New Era in Supporting State Efforts to Improve Care for Dual-Eligible Individuals

Event Description:

For over a decade, state and federal policymakers have worked to better integrate Medicare and Medicaid to improve care for the more than 12 million people in the U.S. who are dually eligible for these programs. Recent federal policies to promote integration, lessons from early innovators, and financial imperatives are furthering states’ ability to advance integrated models.  Join this webinar to hear from representatives in Washington State and Indiana who will describe new efforts in their states to further Medicare-Medicaid integration. The states will highlight how funding under Advancing Medicare & Medicaid Integration, a national initiative coordinated CHCS, has enabled them to increase integration between Medicare and Medicaid, improve beneficiary access to integrated models, and ensure better patient experiences, higher quality of care, and reduced health care costs.

Who should attend? Medicaid agency and other state officials involved with policies and programs related to dual-eligible populations; technical assistance partners with experience supporting states in this work; and other interested stakeholders such as managed care organizations.

This webinar will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm ET.
