The newly formed Marin Aging and Disability Institute (MADI) is seeking a project management consultant for a six-month full-time project with the potential to transition to a permanent in-house senior leadership role after the six-month term. In 2018, Whistlestop and the Marin Center for Independent Living joined forces to receive a gift of property and assets formerly belonging to Marinspace. To manage this transfer and future use of the space, they created a new incorporated 501(C)3 nonprofit organization, the Marin Aging and Disability Institute. MADI will be focused on sustaining and enhancing collective and collaborative solutions that meet the growing needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities in Marin County.
This six-month project is to lead the development of an integration plan to transition the Aging Action Initiative (AAI) to become a program within MADI. The project will also entail developing a strategic plan to add a disability focus to AAI and for the initiative to evolve into the Aging and Disability Action Initiative (ADAI). The project manager will work in partnership with the strategic consulting firm, Collaborative Consulting, as well as a newly formed Integration Team and the MADI leadership team.
Develop and manage a multi-organizational transition, integration, and implementation plan
