Report: "Public Health’s Roles in Supporting Informal and Family Caregivers"

Trust for America’s Health released the policy brief “Public Health’s Roles in Supporting Informal and Family Caregivers” as part of the Age-Friendly Public Health Systems initiative. This report finds that individuals who provide unpaid, informal caregiving are experiencing increasing levels of economic, emotional, and physical challenges as a result. The brief contains recommendations for policy and systems changes to advance healthy aging and support caregivers, including better availability and easier navigation of caregiver supports.
