Request for Applications: Boundary Spanning Leadership, Cross-Sector Partnerships in Brain Health

ASTHO, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, is offering, a two-day, virtual Boundary Spanning Leadership training in which teams will learn how to create direction, alignment, and commitment across agencies, foster innovation, and build cross-sector partnerships that elevate brain health.

Any state public health department which has the necessary infrastructure, capacity, and availability is eligible to apply. States are required to identify at least two core team members to participate in the training with an optional third team member permitted:
- Team Lead: Subject matter expert (SME) on dementia or chronic disease from the state health department
- Interagency Collaborator: Team member from a different area of the health department or other government agency, including Medicaid, aging, transportation, labor, or education, among others
- Optional Team Member: Another dementia or chronic disease SME, Alzheimer’s Association Chapter Staff, or additional Interagency Collaborator

Participants are expected to allot the necessary time for working with their state team members to complete a brief deliverable and evaluation.

Applications are due Friday, February 20, at 11:59 p.m.
