ACL Releases 2021 Annual Summary of Statistics On Older Adults

The Profile of Older Americans is an annual summary of the statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Center for Health Statistics, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics related to older adults in the United States. The Profile illustrates the shifting demographics of Americans age 65 and older and includes information on population growth, marital status, living arrangements, income, employment, and health. This year's report includes a special section on family caregivers.

NAMRS FFY2016 Data Report - Release 1

The Administration for Community Living’s National Adult Protective Services Technical Assistance Resource Center has released their first National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) FFY 2016 data report. NAMRS is a voluntary data reporting system which collects data from state and local Adult Protective Services systems. This report contains information about the quantity and type of data submitted by states, the District of Columbia, and territories.

Report to Congress on Medicaid and CHIP

On March 15, the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission released the March 2016 Report to Congress on Medicaid and CHIP. The authorizing statute of MACPAC requires the commission to submit a report to Congress by March 15 and June 15 each year. This report focuses on three aspects of Medicare: Support for safety-net hospitals; delivery of care for people with behavioral health conditions; and coverage for low and moderate income children.

Money Follows the Person Evaluation Information and Reports

Mathematica Policy Research submitted several reports on proposed methods for developing and testing risk and reliability. The important contribution for this work is the development of a risk adjustment methodology that can be applied to Medicaid quality measures of the HCBS population. These resources include: Risk Adjustment of HCBS Composite Measures- Volumes 1 and 2; Development of an HCBS Pressure Ulcer Measure- Volumes 1 and 2; and Development of HCBS Quality Measures webinar and slides.
