CMS Office of Minority Health is recognizing National Immunization Awareness month by providing immunization and vaccine resources on their website. The site houses shareable information about available, low cost vaccines, Medicare coverage for vaccines, COVID-19 resources, and more.

On August 3, 2021 CMS published a proposed rule that would rescind a 2019 policy change prohibiting reassignment of certain Medicaid payments. The rule would re-instate a policy that was first established in 2014 allowing payments to third parties when Medicaid program is the primary source of revenue for the provider. CMS is accepting comment on the proposed rule until September 28, 2021.

This Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on HCBS focuses on person-centered service delivery and outcomes measurement that inform the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of federal and state home and community-based programs, policies, and interventions.

ACL has annouced a redesign of their Nutrition and Aging Resource Center website. Content has been reorganized into key sections, including training and tools, success stories, and data and evaluation. A broad range of subsections further organize content into categories such as innovative models and events.

The New York Academy of Medicine, with support from ACL, has created the Older Adults Equity Collaborative Resource Library to help advance equity in aging services. This digital library collects resources for diverse populations of older adults, their caregivers, and aging service providers. It also provides technical assistance and training to the aging services network to better serve a diverse population of older adults.

The conference will feature three main areas of content: Service Delivery (For those in CRS, CRS-A/D and related roles and their supervisors), Database Curation (For those in CRS-DC roles and their supervisors), Self-Care and Professional Development (For everyone who needs it). The e-conference will be held on October 12-14, 2021. The deadline for submissions is July 26, 2021.

The application for the next round of NCAPPS Technical Assistance is now available. Technical Assistance will be provided to up to ten States, Tribes, or Territories for up to 100 hours per year for up to two years. Technical assistance will help advance person-centered thinking, planning and practice to support people with disabilities and older adults with long-term service and support needs. Applications are due by July 30, 2021.
