Making a Difference, Fall 2004

Making a Difference is a quarterly magazine of the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities. The Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities collaborates with Georgia’s citizens, public and private advocacy organizations and policymakers to positively influence public policies that enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.

You decide. Your help. Consumer Directed Video

Interested in how to use media to market your program? Minnesota has developed short video clips to make it easier for consumers to learn about “You Decide. Your Help.” The following video segments show viewers how to use the consumer directed service option to provide the help you need to continue to live at home. These clips give viewers the basic information on what the option is, who is eligible and who to contact for more information.

ADRC-TAE Fact Sheet: How to Secure Medicaid Federal Financial Participation for ADRC Functions

Project SEARCH Start Up Information - New Hampshire

Serving as a single point of entry, the Project SEARCH program provides a comprehensive approach to employment, retention, and career advancement for individuals with disabilities transitioning from high school. New Hampshires' goal is to begin training the first Project SEARCH group of 12 student interns for the full school year starting in September 2011 and graduating that group in June 2012.

Employment Leadership Awards 2010 - New Hampshire

Attached are several examples of tip sheets developed by Louisiana’s Medicaid Infrastructure Grant project with funds from the Center on Medicare and Medicaid Services Medicaid Infrastructure Grant.
