The Ohio Department of Aging is hiring a Division for Community Living Chief. This role has responsibility for the management of statewide home-and community-based services (HCBS) waiver programs that support Ohioans covered by Medicaid. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of Medicaid–funded programs and waivers that support older Ohioans and their caregivers
  • Leading the development and execution of a strategy that advances long-term services and supports
  • Developing and implementing policy and procedural improvements based on data-driven insights
  • Driving the creation and adoption of clinical quality improvement initiatives
  • Providing oversight of the AGE-certified provider network
  • Advising the Chief Program Officer on emerging trends in long term care practices and policy

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in public administration, social work, nursing, gerontology, or another human services field with progressive leadership in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of long-term services and supports, Medicaid, Medicare, and Older Americans Act programs a plus
