Advancing a Home-Based Serious Illness Care Ecosystem: Recent Policy Advancements and Future Directions

The Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy will hold a webinar exploring the policy landscape of home-based care for individuals with serious illnesses.

Home-based serious illness care can improve access, care coordination, and quality of life for older adults with complex health and social needs, yet policy, regulatory, and payment challenges continue to limit broader adoption and scale. This webinar will highlight recent policy advancements and further opportunities to strengthen the home-based care ecosystem by addressing administrative and regulatory barriers and advancing payment and accountability models that support comprehensive, person-centered care.
