Medicare Fraud Prevention Week

Senior Medicare Patrol, in collaboration with the Administration for Community Living, will host Medicare Fraud Prevention Week from June 1 June 5. Medicare Fraud Prevention Week is held each year around June 5, or 6/5, because most people become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65.

During Medicare Fraud Prevention Week, resources are focused on the actions everyone can take to prevent Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse, which cause an estimated $60 billion in loss each year.
