The Evolving Role of Developmental Disability Councils in Employment

In recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, the Disability Employment Technical Assistance Center (DETAC) will hold a webinar exploring how Developmental Disability (DD) Councils are an important tool for promoting employment by convening partners, influencing systems, and elevating effective practices through capacity building.

The webinar will feature partners and a self-advocate apprentice from the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD), as well as representatives from the Nebraska Council on Developmental Disabilities. Participants will identify replicable strategies, partnerships, and lessons learned from state-level initiatives to advance employment for individuals with development disabilities.
