Vulnerable Policyholders: Financial Exploitation, Cognitive Decline, and Insurance

The Elder Justice Coalition will hold a webinar exploring the intersection of financial exploitation, cognitive decline, and insurance.

Participants will learn how financial exploitation can occur through insurance policies and financial products, including changes to beneficiary designations and policies being allowed to lapse while someone else has control of financial resources. The session will also cover warning signs of exploitation and what options may be available once exploitation is discovered.
