Webinar on Safe Housing for Older Adults and People with Disabilities

The Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition is holding a Coalition Conversation webinar on "Pathways to Support: Barrier Free Living's Approach to Safe Housing". This webinar will share how Barrier Free Living (BFL) approaches housing and support services for people with disabilities. The session will begin with an overview of the organization's history and programs, followed by a discussion of the intersection between victimization and disability. There will be a focus on "Freedom Village", which is BFL's newest supportive housing development designed for domestic violence survivors and older adults with disabilities, including those exiting nursing homes.
