Addressing the Direct Care Workforce Shortage: AAA Strategies and Solutions

USAging will hold a webinar sharing Area Agency on Aging (AAA) perspectives on the impact of direct care worker (DCW) shortages on older adults and caregivers.

Many older adults rely on in-home DCWs to live in the community, but areas across the country are experiencing persistent DCW shortages that can impact the health and wellbeing of older adults and caregivers. During this webinar, speakers will share findings from the 2025 National Survey of Area Agencies on Aging on how DCW shortages are impacting consumer services and outcomes, as well as practical approaches they are using to strengthen the direct care workforce in their communities.
