Caregiving at Work Forum
The Employee Benefit Research Institute, in partnership with Greenwald Research, will hold the Caregiving at Work Forum.
The opening session of the Forum will feature a conversation with Mary Lazare, Principal Deputy Administrator of the Administration for Community Living, to discuss how caregiving is reshaping the American workforce. The conversation will explore the challenges facing working caregivers, the financial and workplace implications of caregiving, and opportunities to better support caregivers and strengthen their financial security.
The Forum agenda will also highlight new research, employer perspectives, and practical examples to examine the caregiving landscape; workplace and policy implications; emerging benefit strategies; and the business value of helping caregivers remain engaged, productive, and connected to the work force. Sessions will explore the many forms caregiving can take, including support for young children, older adults, family members with disabilities, and individuals managing chronic health conditions.
The Caregiving at Work Forum offers free virtual or in-person attendance in Washington, D.C.
Date: Thursday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
