Caring Under Pressure: The Growing Challenges Facing America’s Sandwich Generation Family Caregivers

AARP’s Government Affairs Team will hold a webinar on “sandwich generation” family caregivers, who are individuals caring for an adult while also having a child or grandchild under the age of 18 living at home. 

Speakers will share new data from the 2026 Caregiving in the US report on sandwich generation caregivers and report on how bipartisan legislation can help support this population. This webinar will also feature a sandwich generation caregiver, who will discuss their experience juggling care alongside other day-to-day responsibilities.
