Webinar on Expanding Access to Care in Rural Communities

The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) will host a webinar on strategies to improve access to care for people with complex health and social needs living in rural communities. Rural communities often face barriers to accessing healthcare, long-term services and supports, and social services due to workforce shortages, geographic isolation, and limited infrastructure. During this webinar, speakers will highlight promising state and local approaches to strengthening care coordination, expanding provider capacity, and building partnerships with community-based organizations to better meet the needs of rural populations. Attendees will gain practical strategies and implementation lessons that can help states improve access to integrated, person-centered care for rural residents with complex needs.
