The American Society on Aging is hosting a webinar to help individuals learn more about the ASA RISE program, including information on eligibility requirements, the application and selection process, and the experiences of past fellows. ASA RISE is designed to prepare diverse talent to become the next generation of aging leadership in the field of aging. The ASA Rise Cohort offers an eleven-week program focusing on inclusive leadership development, covering topics such as unconscious bias, aging issues in communities of color, antiracism, and allyship, followed by a project development phase in collaboration with ASA's On Aging Institute. During this webinar, participants will gain insights into the program's objectives, activities, and how to prepare a competitive application, while also hearing from ASA RISE alumni and mentors.
This webinar will take place on Friday, June 9 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
