Money Follows the Person and LTSS Rebalancing: Opportunities for States

The Lurie Institute for Disability Policy and the Community Living Policy Center will hold a webinar highlighting the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program. 

MFP is one of the longest and most successful Medicaid demonstrations. The program supports states in transitioning people residing in institutional settings back to the community, assisting with rebalancing long-term services and supports systems by advancing access to home and community-based services. 

Speakers will highlight the history of the program, state snapshots, and tribal MFP initiatives, as well as discuss the cost-effectiveness of the program and provide recommendations moving forward.
