
Approaching Clients with Cultural Humility
This webinar will focus on general perspectives of cultural humility in health and social services, and ways to effectively engage with clients in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner. The webinar will begin with a brief overview of cultural humility before exploring different frameworks for overcoming communication and cultural barriers. Participants will learn about various tools to practice self-awareness when serving people of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The webinar will also review institutional accountability in providing culturally sensitive services.
