Since 2020, enrollment in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) has doubled, with over five million individuals who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid now enrolled, and numbers expected to continue growing. States are increasingly leveraging D-SNPs to integrate care and improve service coordination for dual-eligible populations.
