Health Literacy Month

October is Health Literacy Month, an opportunity to highlight the importance of clear, effective health communications practices to improve patient health and well-being. 

The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) has released a series of health literacy fact sheets to explore the impact of limited health literacy and provide strategies for organizational improvement to more effectively communicate with members. Topics include:
